I have been camping here for close to 8 years now and with my family for about 5 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are sites out in the wide open or completely in the timber if you like for that true camping feel. Our kids LOVE the campground and have a blast....they have several friends they see everytime they go. We love how friendly all the other permenant campers are there. They have several events throughout the summer as well that we enjoy. The 4th of July display being our favorite, and the hog roast in October. We look forward to every spring so we can see our extended family at the Windmill Resort. I would highly recommend this place as it is downhome, peaceful and very friendly.

Great place to camp. There are any type of sites you need from tents to 50 amp. they even have cabin's. The owners are Wonderful People!!! This is a great place for family's they offer a stocked pond with Catch and Release, for the kids. They have an on site store that offers: food, ice, bait, gas, and propane. The rates are very reasonable. My family has been there with a permanent site for several years, there are even campers that have had there camper there for over 20 YEARS if that doesn't tell you some thing. They also have the BEST 4 of July Fireworks display I have ever encountered. So if you want a peaceful getaway that is close to the lake, and boat ramps. This is your place.
